Life Day 15. December

Star Wars Galaxies: Wookiee Life Day On Tuesday, December 15th, at 4:00 AM PST all U.S. and European galaxies will be taken down for server maintenance and a Hotfix to activate Wookiee Life Day.
When the Hotfix is complete, all galaxies will be live but unavailable while we complete final testing. All galaxies will be made available after that time.

Wookiee Life Day

  • Life Day is back with new rewards and a new badge! The towns of Dearic, Wayfar, and Doaba Guerfel have been decorated for the celebration of Wookiee Life Day. Visit the Life Day NPCs to sign up for the festivities! Imperial organizers, called Trandoshan Traders, can be found near the shuttleports; Rebel organizers, Wookiee Freedom Fighters, are near cantinas. Stop by the Life Day tree for gifts, music, and a special quest from Saun Dann!
Misc

  • /areaPickRandomPlayer command has been added that will randomly choose a non-cloaked player within 16m. To specify your own range (from 1m-256m), include it after the command (for example, /areaPickRandomPlayer 32). There is a cool down that takes 30 seconds.

  • /cityPickRandomCitizen command has been added that will randomly choose a citizen. /cityPickRandomCitizen -online will only pick online citizens. There is a cool down that takes 30 seconds.

  • /groupPickRandomGroupMember command has been added that will randomly choose a group member, not including NPC group member. There is a cool down that takes 30 seconds.

  • /guildPickRandomGuildMember command has been added that will randomly choose a guild member. /guildPickRandomGuildMember -online will only pick online guild members. There is a cool down that takes 30 seconds.

  • /roomPickRandomPlayer command has been added that will randomly choose a non-cloaked player in the room. There is a cool down that takes 30 seconds.

  • The -point option is available for these commands (for example, /areaPickRandomPlayer 32 -point) that will do the /pointat emote at the chosen player if she is nearby.

  • The -emote=xxxxx option is available for these commands (for example, /areaPickRandomPlayer 32 -emote=summon) that will perform the specified emote at the chosen player if she is nearby. If you are the chosen player, it will ignore the specified emote and just do the /pointat emote.

Star Wars Galaxies: Hotfix 14.8

On Thursday, December 17th, during normal U.S. restart times, all U.S. galaxies will be taken down for server maintenance and a Hotfix.

On Thursday, December 17th, during normal European restart times, all European galaxies will be taken down for server maintenance and a Hotfix.

When the Hotfix is complete, all galaxies will be live but unavailable while we complete final testing. All galaxies will be made available after that time.


Life Day

When you open one of the gifts given by the Life Day Tree, there will once again be trees and Life Day music. Saun Dan blames the faulty gift boxes on his Life Day Elves. The Life Day Elves claim innocence based on the fact that they do not exist in Star Wars.
Removed all No Trade restrictions from the new Life Day rewards.


TCG

Medic Buffs will no longer remove the effect of the Shock Collar or the Kashyyykian Muzzle from your beast.
